Hmm I want to remember some things from childhood, namely the contents of some compilation tapes my dad made in the seventies, how do I do this? Has anyone had hypnotherapy, could it do this?
no idea if it would work for you but i paid £100 to help me stop smoking and found it to be a load of rubbish
As someone who read a single thin book on hypnosis in my teens, I am hereby a forum authority on the subject: Hypnosis works sometimes, but only on certain people. It's not as simple as those people just being suggestible.
Had it twice for fear of flying, different therapists. Neither worked.

Given that you are asking daft questions all the time I suspect that you have been hypnotised already.
Crikey George, get to the point man 🙂
Does remembering compilation tapes count as therapy? I guess it could.
It worked for my GF, terrible needle phobia which was pretty annoying as she got ill and had to have regular blood tests. The first time she went after having her "taps" (tunnel catheter) removed it took a couple of hours of tears and tantrums.
She had about 4 sessions, got progressively better with each one, fine with needles now. It was more about relaxation exercises and positive associations than any kind of magical woo-woo.
had hypnotherapy to stop smoking about 15 years ago, and haven't smoked since. I suspect though it merely marked an 'event' rather than was the cause. I wanted to stop, and I found it relatively easy to do so. At the time I put it down to the therapy, but (having read Alan Carr's book since I stopped) I would have been successful regardless.
