At the moment I have a Panasonic Freeview HDD/DVD combi but would like to add catch-up TV to the setup without having to use the PC or faff about too much. I thought this would be simple as most Blu-Rays etc offer internet based facilities but it seems there is little choice if you want all the play-again sevices. I have a "smart" Panny plasma set but it's actually not that smart! Does anyone have experience of the Humax Youview box, it seems to get quite mixed reviews. I think you can also get it Via a BT internet bundle with added features-on demand movies etc.
I think the only other option is a PS3 but I don't really do games.
I have it. Am with TalkTalk* (get a free YV box with TT broadband/phone service). It's fine, though Mrs North is a determiend Sky user, so it isn;t used as much as it should be.
