Can anyone recommend a good brewery in Huddersfield that can deliver a crate of beer locally?
It's my brother's birthday tomorrow and I've forgotten about it....

Magic Rock is the business but you may struggle to get bottles and they use a third-party for delivery in which case it's irrelevant that they're in Huddersfield unless you want local.

You could also try Mallinsons.

I think you'll struggle though as breweries brew and leave end-consumer distribution and retail etc to others.

Try

Also a lot of the farmshops round here sell local beer so you might be able to get someone to pick some up for him (sorry that's not an offer).

Give http://www.beerritz.co.uk a ring. They are Leeds based. Are most excellent. And have (or did have on Friday when I popped in for the weekend supplies) Magicrock Cannonball and Bearded Lady in bottles as well as 9 or so varieties of Mallinsons. Obviously loads of other Yorkshire beers as well as stuff from around the world. They'll knock up a crate for you.

Magicrock also have an online shop

Not a brewery but I'm sure they could provide a good crate/assortment.

Hand drawn monkey shop in Huddersfield. Really nice lads.

The Magic Rock founder/owner used to post on here but he's too busy these days. He still rides though.

I know its too late now but for reference, Elland Brewery do some real nice beers and theres been a few times when I've had full or half kegs from them. Work out cheap as well...

Not sure if they do kegs (sure they would do) but the Brass Monkey Brewery in Sowerby Bridge is also a good 'un.

You could try the Sair inn, Linthwaite.

Sair, Rat and Ratchet, Golcar, Riverhead, all worth a punt. I know the Sair used to sell polypit take-outs but that was years ago. May even be worth asking at the Star at Lockwood, and the Spring Tavern.
