[Closed] How to send photo gear?

I am ebaying some of my unused photo equipment but I don't know which postal service to use. The PO seems eye-wateringly expensive - but lost parcels are even more so, so I don't want to trust it to some incompetent. What are your tips for sending high value items?

Shoot it to them with a......Canon? Never had a problem with Royal Mail, just send it on a special delivery and everything I've sent that way does arrive next day
