Yesterday was a long day in the office. 13hrs at the desk enlivened only by the 2nd hand POC armour vest I bought from here turning up in the post. 11pm rolls around and I go to leave and find it won't fit in my tiny back pack so I have to wear home.
So I'm in the drizzle heading out of Didcot on a FS bike (my commute in was a decent ride up and down the Ridgeway) wearing body armour without anything over the top on a flat cycle path.
Coming the other way was a group of muddy, happy riders back after a session. Polite nods as we pass each other followed by their laughter when they were past.
