I'm trying to download kodi on a fire stick, but keep getting a Error 521 message, I've seen elsewhere that there are problems with the servers affecting main webpage and wiki, but a mirror ( http://mirrors.kodi.tv/) can be used for the download. I've followed the above link and it just takes me to a confusing list of files and sub files, can someone please tell me how to download from there? Thanks
I had a go at this but failed slightly later on in the process. What you are looking for is a .Apk file, which will install to the android OS. I got as far as download ING / installing but the install failed. Might have another go later.

I tried with ES Explorer but couldn't get it to work.
I then found this video and it worked perfectly and really easy.
If you have an android phone or tablet I have found the easiest way is to use an app called appstofire. It allows you to put any app that you have on said phone or tablet straight onto your firetv via your local network.
