I have a light that's stopped working, it holds 3 bulbs, none of which are gone. It's connected to a 2 gang dimmer. The second dimmer still seems to be working - it controls some little lighting sockets that still work.
So I'm guessing the dimmer for the light has gone?
But how do I check without killing myself?

Question - Is the light 1 way (single light switch) or more than 1 light switch to operate the non illuminating lights?

Touch the wires together & see if the light comes on, quite fun on 'live' 240v, but you got to learn sometime right?*
