I'm thinking of having an extension built, for the home and for bike storage. I wondered if anyone had used www. beat the builder .com? It looks good and I think they can help with finding the right builder re costs. Just wondered if anyone else had used them before? Thanks!

I would suggest getting some recommendations from friends who've had work done.
Unless it is pretty much new build my experience is that you need to make site visits to price accurately.

As well as recommendations, learn to trust your instinct as well - if you have any doubts at all look elsewhere, trust me it's not worth the grief
