As a parent I cant imagine where the strength to deal with something like this comes from.

agree.

My wife works in a special needs school and they seem to have 3 or 4 deaths a year for children with similar issues to David Camerons son. I don't know how she copes to be honest, let alone the parents.

Sad indeed. Any loss of a child must be terrible. A parent invests a lot more emotion* into a child with more demands so the loss must be greater.

*IMO obviously but my brother is severely disabled so I do have some insight

Hope the media give them some space. What a terrible thing. A parent should never have to go through their child's funeral.

As a dad I can't imagine how people deal with it.

Very sad news indeed. Being a parent I can't possibly imagine how they are coping.

RIP.

Thats terrible news. My mother adopted a baby before i was born. He died aged just 2 years old, he had the same problems as Ivan Cameron. I don't think about it much but this news brings it back.

It's not something she talks about much but when she does she smiles and laughs about the time they had with him.

What else can i say?!

Odd that both Cameron and Brown have both lost children. The chances of both the PM and the opposition leader both being in that situation must be very low.

Strange and very very sad.

The only thing sadder imo, must be losing a whole family in something like a road traffic accident.

🙁
