Say from a 36" trousers to 34" (or 34" jeans to 32" jeans)?
This will vary so much from person to person.
People store weight in different places.
true, but on average, for an average bloke in average trousers etc etc.
for me its was a stone and a half. Dropped 3 stone in total and went from 38 to 34 in the process...
See, I was going to say about 10 lb.
I just lost 6lbs since Friday night. I did have Gastric flu though, not pleasant at all.
2 stone for me.
I went from 34" - 32" and my weight dropped from 13.5 - 12 stone.
Hmmm, might have to go and buy some more trousers, I've been putting off buying some new trousers for ages, just given in and bought 2x pairs of work trousers and a pair of jeans, didn't think I'd put 2st on since I last tried jeans on in the shop rather than just buying by size!
42.
Mr_Mojo - MemberI went from 34" - 32" and my weight dropped from 13.5 - 12 stone.
Exactly the same here.
96kg to 72kg - 38" to 32"
3.8st in old money?
From my records for last year, 20lbs was 4". For me I lose fat off my waist first though then it slows down.
I was around a 40" waist and dropped 5 stone.
Craghopper 34" walking trousers are fine but I often end up needing 36" or 38" waist in jeans or work trousers due to thunder thighs!
96kg and fitting into 36" M&S work trousers just fine, or 34" regular jeans.
So I'm looking at about 82kg before I can fit my old jeans properly again ๐
I used to be 11 stone wearing 32"
I`m now 13stone 12lbs - 36" (but without a belt they would fall down!) A 34 is too tight.
Not sure if that helps.
I wear the wifes maternity jeans, to mask this kind of problem.
I wonder if they make 34/32 jeggings................
If you put the jeans on while lying down you should be able to get them on.
Just make sure there are no breakables in front of you, just in case the button pings off when you stand up.
Seriously though, losing weight from your waist is very hard and you tend to have to work at it before seeing results. The amount of weight you'll need to lose will vary depending on the person...best bet is to speak to a fitness professional to get a list of targetted exercises.
half a stone for me to go from 32" to 30" whenI started cycle commuting regularly.
back up to 32" again now ๐
I used to fit loosely in a 34 at 15.5 stone. I now fit averagely in a 36 at 16 st 11.
As a rule of thumb it used to be 1 stone = 1 inch.
Or so my mum used to say...
