Say from a 36" trousers to 34" (or 34" jeans to 32" jeans)?

This will vary so much from person to person.
People store weight in different places.

I just lost 6lbs since Friday night. I did have Gastric flu though, not pleasant at all.

Hmmm, might have to go and buy some more trousers, I've been putting off buying some new trousers for ages, just given in and bought 2x pairs of work trousers and a pair of jeans, didn't think I'd put 2st on since I last tried jeans on in the shop rather than just buying by size!

From my records for last year, 20lbs was 4". For me I lose fat off my waist first though then it slows down.

I was around a 40" waist and dropped 5 stone.

Craghopper 34" walking trousers are fine but I often end up needing 36" or 38" waist in jeans or work trousers due to thunder thighs!

96kg and fitting into 36" M&S work trousers just fine, or 34" regular jeans.

So I'm looking at about 82kg before I can fit my old jeans properly again ๐Ÿ™

I used to be 11 stone wearing 32"

I`m now 13stone 12lbs - 36" (but without a belt they would fall down!) A 34 is too tight.

Not sure if that helps.

I wear the wifes maternity jeans, to mask this kind of problem.

If you put the jeans on while lying down you should be able to get them on.

Just make sure there are no breakables in front of you, just in case the button pings off when you stand up.

Seriously though, losing weight from your waist is very hard and you tend to have to work at it before seeing results. The amount of weight you'll need to lose will vary depending on the person...best bet is to speak to a fitness professional to get a list of targetted exercises.

As a rule of thumb it used to be 1 stone = 1 inch.

Or so my mum used to say...
