I'm hearing a whole lot of Steely Dan, Jellyfish and Higher Ground by Stevie Wonder.
I don't mind the song but it won't take long til I absolutely hate it and having seen them do that little dance that point is now hours away.
edit Make that minutes.

WTF is that???? my brain has tried to process it but my perceptual buffers turn it into white noise to preserve my sanity. Do folks actually listen and enjoy such bland, middle of the road turgid pap?

As Sam Torrance once said "It's about the most disgusting thing I've seen in my life"

I sense that their music does not ooze from every pore, rather oozes from just one orifice.

It's got a gary glitter intro.

Eew. There's nothing actually bad about it, it's musically proficient, the guy can sing, and the tune itself trips along in a bouncy fashion. So why do I hate it so much?
The band all wearing matching outfits, and doing that silly little choreographed routine really doesn't help.
I keep thinking of Sailor and Haircut 100, gawd help me; is there a mental disinfectant I can use?

So why do I hate it so much?

because its the musical equivalent of being forced to fellate a smug looking Robert Kilroy silk to a soundtrack of T'Pau

Crikey - that is a change of direction from his stones throw stuff - which I really liked. Maybe he just couldn't make any money playing decent music?

and performing a classic:

After reading the comments, maybe I should be thankful it won't play on my p*** poor slow connection...
