I am still suffering today after a party on Sunday night, didnt get to my bed until 6am monday, Dont think I am still hungover but still not sleeping properly so mainly just tired now and think still a bit dehydrated.

So how long does it take you to recover when you pull an all-nighter?

It can take a couple of days. I suspect my liver's not what it was.

I avoid them these days for that reason - I'd say more like a week until sleeping and tiredness returns to normal, and it just never seems that worthwhile these days!

despite the fact I'm a student it takes me a couple of days, the lack of sleep usually does it rather than the drink (not a big boozer though)

I'm over 45 and have 2 children.

Staying up past 11pm counts as a late night.

Anything past midnight would need a few hours kip in the middle.

It usually takes me wallet significantly longer to recover than my body

coupla days? I actually tend to suffer less from long sessions, suppose it's coz I pace myself and then after midnight start drinking atleast 1 pint of water per alchy drink, normally not too bad morning after. Just nipping out for a few pints seems to result in more carnage.

I started having regular fits and hallucinations with my hangovers after 25 years of dedicated service to the rock n roll lifestyle.. with week long recovery rates at best.. liver function was minimal and the substances my body excreted were vile..

an extra cup of tea or two after lunch is the extent of my hell raising these days

Had about 4 pints thrusday evening after work was at home at 9 and asleep on the sofa, after a takeaway ruby, by 10.... 3am I'm in the wide awake club, the same WAC on saturday night and even again on sunday night.... rubbish.

Really am coming to the conclusion even a "little" drink is not worth it.

Haven't done it in quite a few years, but from experience, 2 days hungover, 4 days mentally destroyed. that was when i was early / mid thirties.

Agree I am on day 3, and brain function has not yet returned to normal.

If it takes you a few days I'd seriously consider giving your system and liver a long rest. You feel tired/knackered etc due to your diet and drinking habits after all..

Went out last Thursday to my local for early doors at 6pm, I was about to leave at 8.30 when 4 of my mates walked in, didn't leave until we were told to go home at 12.30, landlord needed some kip, didn't feel right again until Monday.

Depends on the hangover gods for me. 2 examples:

1. All dayer on a Saturday for bothers wedding, bed at 2am, no water, steaming, fine by midday next day.
2. 3 pints at the local last weekend, water when I got home, food, bed by 11pm. Knocked out until Monday lunch.

I've given up, no logic to it at all.
