I think the tadpole has an end entrance rather than side, but I don't know for certain. I haven't looked at them for some time

It looks quite good - the pertex sides make it much warmer over mesh, although a little heavier

White is an absolute deal breaker though. Olive green only

I think the name is on the tent bag but mirrored.... 🔎

No knowledge of them myself, but a number of deals on their website just now.

I am lucky enough to have a(n old) Hilleberg Akto.

Is that an Alpkit BruKit in the picture?

That’s a chrysalis, not a tent…

Yeah, I checked that but the name is that of the "sleeping bag". The tent does look familiar but I can't see any logos on it. While not a fan of white tents, I thought that finding the brand might let me check whether or not they have it in another colour too.

Nope. Wrong pole configuration.

Why didn't you ask him when you took the photo?

Common enough design; I had an inner pitch first version 10 years ago. Can work well if you're tall.

Actually, I see now the original pic has a third crossing pole. Similar concept though: offset dome, side entrance. I'd be interested in that tent, too.

It was an ad for the quilt on Facebook, so I've emailed the folk that placed the ad. I'll report back

I still can't quite believe that the collective brains of STW have let me down.

I can, with complete confidence, confirm that it’s a tent.

I'm not the only one curious about the tent...

I never pegged you as a punster, I’m gonna let that one fly.

The production version has a green fly and will weigh in around 1.9Kg. Can be pitched outer first, or fly only.
