Excellent to see the flame retardant tank-top in use.
Like a young British Travis Pastrana from the 70s
What tyres for riding through fire?
Man, I miss the 70s.
Me too.
The presenter, listed as David Eggleton looks familiar, I can't find him on google though.
Where was the HSE?
He didn't have much pace about him did he?
+1 DezB
That brings back so many memories of the stunts we got up to - all done on 5spd racers fitted with cow-horn handlebars or the drops turned backwards! 🙂
Impressive stuff. I'd try and copy, but there are no naked flames allowed around here 🙁

Where are you going to find an empty car park? Or lots of geezers at work in a factory to look at you out of the window?
Anywhere in the north in about 9 months time. The people looking out of the window are the official receivers.
That gives me an idea....
“Bit out a breath, that’s all” what a phenomenal athlete. We poor souls here on STW can only ever dream of being so physically fit and in possession of such wizard riding skills
Made my day! What an absolute athlete
so physically fit and in possession of such wizard riding skills..
.. and teeth 😉

Unfortunately laugh out loud worthy.
Sick.
This needs to be perpetually bumped back to the top. Bumped.
I really liked that, in a weird way!!
The post event interview was pretty chilled, to the point, no messing....!
Oh, what a time to have been alive...

Born in '83...
How on earth was this considered newsworthy? Unless as ironic.
Kids all over the UK were doing this stuff at the time!

Ramps yeah - not sure I ever saw much fire other than a bit of lighter/starter fluid or fireworks but I did have a sheltered middle class upbringing.
Yep been there done that
