[Closed] How early do I need to get to Keswick to park on a bank holiday?

As above really! We're planning on doing a big Back o' Skiddaw route Easter Monday and wondering what time the car parks fill up.

Don't mind paying to park, but we'd sooner not be scrabbling around trying to find somewhere when we could be riding.

Park at the football club, on the way in from A591 just after hospital. 3 quid fir all day. We were there last Sunday at 10am, stunning blue sky day, only 3 cars there.

you're on a bike so no real need to park in the centre of town. I'd park where the bridleway comes out to the road just above the pool. Free.

The closest I have ever com to an act of spontaneous violence on a fellow human being was on a Keswickian traffic warden, he demanded that I had a parking disc, I was parked outside a shop that gave them out, he claimed that I had to display my disc before I parked, I explained that I had no disc and would need to enter the shop to acquire said disc, my wife intervened and we went to Penrith instead.

Thanks all, out of town is preferable so the football club sounds ideal. Or in one of the villages.
