I'm a bit out of the loop but I'm fairly certain it is EU Law to display a registered address on eCommerce sites. It could just be UK Law though.
Probably some Greek with a lock-up full of bits off boats. Greeks don't like paying tax.
Whois used to be really useful for checking domain ownership, but it's all "redacted for privacy" or "not disclosed" now. I suspect it's a result of GDPR, possibly an incorrect or over-cautious interpretation, as the P in GDPR shouldn't included businesses. Whatever the reason, it's backward step for public protection.
