How do level something with four feet ? a small 5ft slate pool table to be exact. Is there a technique or something.

The table has knurled knob affairs thats raises and lowers each corner.

I can level three feet things like a site level dead easy.

Am I being blonde or something.

I take it you have never levelled a four legged kitchen unit on a site then ?

You put a foot under each corner then get the person in the lowest corner to flex their ankle to raise it up a wee bit.

Just keep trimming down whichever leg is the longest leg, until it gets level......

Level like a tripod and then take up the "slack" on the fourth leg?

Start by levelling it width ways first. It will rock so use a second person to lift up the rocking corner so the end you're levelling sits firm on the deck.

Once it's level that way, you can level it length ways.

If you get further problems, refer to Ernies last comment on his first post. 😉

QS's obviously don't get the comprehensive training they did in my day.

Get a decent lengthed spirit level (5ft would be handy 😉

Find the high point on the floor (at one of the four feet) and screw that foot all the way back in.

Level the two longest dimensions first, then the short ends. Tweak each foot little at a time checking back and forth long edge / short edge

If you have a straight edge that will span the diagonal you can sit the spirit level on top of this and go corner to corner.

Persevere it's a bit of an acquired skill 😉

You could use the logic an electrician used in a place i used to work.A kettle, one foot missing, so he broke the other 3 off and sent it back to the department it was from.

The woman there filled it with water, and switched it on, as the element was almost on the worktop it scorched the worktop , which was in a brand new kitchen, result another new worktop, and a disciplinary report for the electrician, no wonder the NHS is so short of cash.
