When it's tracking an activity?
I can only do it if I stop the tracking. I'm quite sure it's very easy to do but I'm a bit stupid.

Press and hold the bottom left hand button (it has a little picture of a clock engraved into it) which will bring up your watch screen and let you cycle through widgets. Hit back to return to the activity.
