Broke my old Iphone a few weeks ago, and amazingly my insurance company said it was coverred, even better my old 16g 3g iphone isn't made any more so they have given me money to get the new 16g 3gs Iphone... All happy bunnies.... except I can't get hold of a replacement phone, shops are continuously out of stock and I can't seem to pre-pay for one, join any kind of queue or anything. So I very frustratedly sitting with a crappy old phone to get me by.
Anybody know the best way to get hold of one, or do I just give in and get an altenative?
....and if it is the insurance paying then Expansys....*has a sit down*....Expansys has the 32GB 3GS for....*lies down*...£779.99 ...*passes out*
Expansys used and searched by idiots - You can buy the 32gb ON PAYG for £500 on O2
Hmm thanks Tomzo, I had been trying to get one via O2, which was becoming painful.. "sorry none in stock today, can you call back tomorrow when we get a delivery".... every day for 2 weeks.....
I guess if i order straight from apple I will be further up the queue?
Try calling another 02 store...

wait until you are trying to get a warranty replacement iPhone from O2 - that's when it get's really painful.
I'd agree that you have more chance going straight to apple (although they wanted me to make an appointment and take photo id for the privilege of being allowed to buy a phone)
