Have a similar problem getting sleep here, due to wife's dry cough. She doesn't like whiskey, maybe I should try some ๐Ÿ˜€

Try rubbing a good amount of Vicks on the soles of your feet before bed and put a light pair of sox on, don't ask me why but it does work.

Ask the pharmacist for a cough suppressant.

If that fails, raid your drinks cabinet for anything syrupy - maybe polish off that unwanted bottle of Archer's Peach Snapps

A teaspoonfull of slow gin worked for a one year old. Just scale up to your size and age.

Hot milk and honey .

Add an anti hystamine tablet if they make you a little woozy.

Should see you right.

My pet pharmacist generally recommends

for this kind of thing.

Vicks on your chest and about 10 drops of olbas oil in a large jug or pan of boiling hot water in your room. The eucalyptus and menthol vapour help suppress your cough..
