[Closed] Housing decisions and compromises... what's your prefernece ?

If you have to compromise on something when buying a new property, what is it you're prepared to compromise on ? and what not ?

Property 1.
Perfect location, detached, garaged, 3 bed. Compromise is, price, usable space (bedroom 3 tiny, conservatory really useful ?)

Property 2.
Great location, Semi detached, huge rooms, 3 beds all double, en-suite master, no garage (space for shed 14x8 though)

I'm not asking you guys to pick for me as such, but what are things you're likely to accept as a compromise ?

Obviously the answer is "get a bigger one in right place with right sized rooms".. However that puts and extra £50,000+ on the purchase price.
