House Music all night long.

@imnotamused that was the soundtrack to my first year uni. I was always torn between that and the slightly dirtier Jeremy Healey disc. Total nostalgia.

Checking this thread has thrown me into deep nostalgia for 90s nights this week. Been chatting with a pal about it and we're both agreed we need a night out. But how do you find places or DJs who'd play an absolutely belting classic set for a bunch of old timers? Granted, we need an old timer DJ of which there must be plenty still out there. I'd even organise the night myself (no filming of anything allowed).

We went to a Streetrave event after lockdown and it's kind of snowballed since. My FB feed is now full of day rave/club events to choose from. We've been to Streetrave in Ayr 3 times now, clockwork orange in swg3 Glasgow, dance music archive @ project house in Leeds, club classics also at project house (ace venue, old warehouse), the 5 o'clock club in Leeds.

Seen Altern8, slipmatt, Utah saints, k class, Danny rampling, Jeremy Healy, Alistair Whitehead, David morales, roger Sanchez, judge Jules, John Kelly, Jon pleased wimmin and loads of others. 

It's been an amazing 3 years, a fair few sets/atmospheres have been easily as good as the 90's, same crowd still going mad but now in their 50's lol. I've a great video clip of the drop in Dreaming (ruff riderz) @ project house it was effing mental in there!

Start following some djs on FB, search for those events I've mentioned and follow them and the FB algorithm will start feeding you stuff. Also search on skiddle where we normally have to buy the tickets from.

Hope you manage to find some, I've got a proper thirst on for it again and can't get enough! I feel like I'm 20 again
