Off to Plymouth on Dec 11th for a ball with the good lady. Driving down from Newcastle on the Friday and will be staying over Sat night as well. As there is a free bar all night on the Sat, I thought about stopping over on the Sunday night kinda midway back home as there is no way I'm driving for 7 hours with a stinking head and fuzzy eyes.
Was thinking of somewhere between Bristol & Birmingham-ish, don't often get down that way so bit of a box ticking trip as well.
Any ideas for a pleasant Sunday night out and a nice bed for the night?
