Horrendous injuries, well filmed as it happened, just unbelievable staff. and all back to work as normal next day.

I hope that Hunt is watching.
.. and the rest of the austerity-loving Tory party and their supporters who think low tax and low public expenditure is the solution for everything. I would happily pay more tax to ensure the NHS is properly funded and its staff rewarded for the fabulous job they do!

Got a little dusty watching that!

The injuries didn't upset me too much but you can see Steven is going to suffer for years mentally, that I found difficult to watch.

Lost it at the 'I hope I won't need to put that tabard on again' - and I suspect she might have needed to again for London Bridge and Grenfell (or one of her colleagues on another shift)

I hope the staff also get the psych support, while you deal with the injuries time and again can you really be prepared for the cause and the impact that has?

I think they should be given a pay rise not just because they deserve one but because it is right. How can they justify paying MP`s £74000 plus for what they do compared to what the emergency services do.

That was a gripping bit of TV.

I sat through it in complete awe.

The bit that got me was Cara (the wife of Steve, the guy who had multiple injuries and required a skin graft at the end of the programme) looking at a shot someone had taken of her holding him as he lay on the ground after the attack saying that there was so much love in the photo.

A great bit of TV, no false jeopardy or overly dramatic commentary, it simply didn't need it. Genuine fly on the wall stuff.
