Looking to reinstate a fence after work on the garden. As it is at the front of our property, I'd like to make it a bit smarter. Wondered about a horizontal slatted/lath type fence. I've built a normal vertical 100mm slat fence before but wondered if there is anything more to consider when switching the slats 90 degrees and using thinner ones. No arris/cant/square rails, or should I put some on the back for reinforcement?
Would probably hire a nail gun..
