Am looking for a pair of 700c wheels for my Escapade - have found a decent deal on Hope Pro4/Fortus 26 but Hope are listing the rims as suitable for 2.25-2.50 tyres but I'm looking at running 45mm tyres - has anyone run narrower tyres on the Fortus 26 rims?

My gravel rims are 25mm internal, pretty standard size - running 50mm but quite happy with anything over 35mm.
Hope will be saying that from an MTB point of view, and IMO Hope rims have always been on the narrow side as I've run 30mm internal rims on MTB's for the best part of a decade.

Rims may be on the hefty side for gravel?
580g in 29er, I believe.
Heavier than a DT EX511 30mm enduro rim.
