Loads of crap going on in my life at the moment so have booked a week off work and need to get away to chill out.
Any recommendations for a holiday rental in the Aviemore area for a week in June?
It'll be me, the wife and the dog so must be pet friendly.
I realise I'm leaving it a bit last minute.
P.S. Happy to stay somewhere a bit out of the way. Have stayed at Dalfaber and silverglades in the past, but not sure if I want to go back there.

oh man, that's a great site. Even if I don't find anything for this trip, I'll be using that site a lot to plan others.
It is very cool what you can find that you wouldn't elsewhere!
Also a bit of a risk for some places (Rooms only mostly) but great for hideaway places.
We stayed in a nice house in Boat of Garten a while bike and many times in the Dalfaber estate (not that bad really and you get free access to the Golf and Country Club gym / pool etc).
There's chalets down by the river spey that are pretty decent, very handy for the old bridge inn and a 5 min walk to the centre of town, some have a cracking view of the cairngorms.

EDIT : forget that idea, i see they have changed their policy on pets which they previously welcomed.
