MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Hello my name is Emilie Woog and I am a senior at Mountlake Terrace High School in Seattle, Washington. Where I am enrolled in a class called Engineering Design and Development, a pre-engineering course in the Project Lead the Way program. The class is made to challenge teams of students to create a product that will better the world. Our team is interested in creating a system to improve bicycle comfort. Before we do this, we would like to gather some data to help us further understand current bicycle discomforts. In order to gather sufficient data we need feedback from dedicated bicyclists. We were wondering if you could help us by sending out a survey we have created to any bicyclists or groups you may know that would be able to help us. Here is a link to our survey http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GJLPZ5D, the survey in total is about seven questions long and shouldn’t take longer than five minutes.
Thank you,
Emilie Woog

Sorry. I got stuck on question 1.
Is one supposed to be the total time I spend on a bike per week divided by 7, or... the average time of the riding trips I actually go on in a week?

blimey, 8 posts and nobody has slated the Qs, the approach, or the general "hi im politely spamming you" approach.
this i have to see.
I thought it was a great example of how to spam a forum. Polite, introduced themselves, said what the data was wanted for
Done.
I don't suffer from any specific discomfort myself (apart from bruises / scrapes if I fall off, and sore legs if I ride really hard), but my dad has recently returned to cycling for fitness reasons. He had his prostate removed last year after being diagnosed with prostate cancer (he seems to be making a full recovery, thankfully), but, understandably, he had to try a few saddles before he found one that was comfortable enough for a 60 minute ride.
Anyone else had this, or could offer any suggestions?
Saddles are a personal thing ime.
Done.
I just clicked the link, not really checking it out beforehand. In retrospect, could it have led to 'nasty' things happenning to my PC- viruses and such like, being downloaded?

Good luck
Thanks so much to those of you who did take the survey!
I'm sorry it may have seemed like I was trying to spam you. I should have realized that before I did the post...
I don't think it looked like spam, tbh, and most people know surveymonkey is a 'safe' site.
Good luck with the project - post back here when it's finished and show people what you've done.
