Hi all,

Trying to get uni email set-up on my new Nexus 5.

Guide from uni is as follows;

Problem is, when I follow those steps, there is no Domain box, and setup never works - any ideas?

Ta,
Duane.

just use your gmail account on the phone and log into your uni one at uni and have that server forward all mail to your gmail account. You do have a gmail account right?

Yes, but I'd rather have the emails clearly in separate folders. On my iPhone, I could view just the uni emails, just my gmail emails, or all together. I'd like to do that on my new phone too 🙂

Once you are in the mail client and do 'add account', choose Manual setup, then Exchange

In the username box, instead of trying to add your email address as username, enter it in the following format:

domain\username (where, for me, username is the bit infront of the @ so may not be your full email address)

Do you have any other usernames or network IDs that could be associated with the domain?

For example, I log on to my PC with a code made of initials and DOB. That's the bit I put in as username after the domain to access webmail or set up a mail client for Exchange.

If not, hope the IT guys can fix it!

OK, turns out I was using the guide for setting up staff email 😛

So got the email set up now, but can't figure out how to have both emails in one app - Gmail app just has the Gmail account, and now the Email app just has the uni one (it used to have the gmail one) - can't figure out how to have them both in one?

Or, any recommendations on best email app?
