MegaSack DRAW - 6pm Christmas Eve - LIVE on our YouTube Channel
Hi all,
Hoping the STW massive can help with its infinite knowledge!
I have a modern flat with the toilet bowl which sits flush along the floor and then up the wall, so it look like a solid block with no pipework visible. The cistern and all is hidden in the wall panel itself. The toilet seat has became really loose and Im trying to remove the toilet bowl from the wall to see if there are nuts to tighten hidden in the back of the bowl unit. The only fixings exposed are a couple of capped screws which srew into the bowl horizontally from either side, and Ive removed these but there is no movement in it at all.
Its a Galassia toilet and I cant seem to find anything onine as to how to remove the bowl. Anyone got any ideas of a trick I may be missing?
Try sliding a knife under the bowl along the floor, My inlaws toilet was similar to that and it was glued to the tiles, Took me ages too to figure out what was holding it in place.
Otherwise use the biggest hammer you can find.
Sledge it!!!!
(and take pics!)
