I can't offer anything helpful. If it was me in my single days, I would definitely have said / done nothing just in case she refused. Which she almost certainly would have done (in my case).

I've nailed her down to lunch on Saaaaturday, we were at the clinic on Suuuunday, we were back on it on Monday, and Tuesday and Wednensday and Thurrsday and back to clinic on Friiiiday
