Got a parcel coming, tracking it online and all fine until now- last update;

29/03/2010 19:51:45 Parcel despatched from the Depot Depot: STOKE DEPOT

Bearing in mind its now 14hrs later and I'm in Glasgow, should the tracking info be updated or is it a case of its done once a day?

I was looking for a courier to send some wheels yesterday and HDNL where cheapest
No experience personally but after reading these reviews.....
http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews150787.html

think for the extra £2 it will cost me I will stick with Royal Mail (which is saying something - I hate them with a passion, but at least I have tried and tested their compensation procedures in the past...several times!)

I've had them deliver things to me that I've bought on here, twice. No problems - took a couple of days after collection. I do get things delivered to work though so there's always someone here so that solves the potential problem of cards being left with neighbours, missed deliveries and so on.

Had something delivered from Amazon by them - was getting worried after reading the negative stories on the web but they delivered when they said they would, albeit at about 7pm at night and the delivery bloke looked pretty hacked off with his 12+ hour day. He'd still got a fair few drops after that, he said.

And no, I don't normally strike up conversations with delivery people but given the time and that according to the tracking website he must've had a long day I thought I'd break the usual London rules and talk to him 😉

My Amazon delivery from them was apparently on the van Friday morning - Didn't get here till Monday. On the plus side, I wasn't in when he tried to deliver so he left it safe and dry under my BBQ lid and popped a note through the door to let me know.

Sounds preferable to when ParcelForce left a Nintendo DS in our recycling bin and left no note. Lucky it wasn't a Thursday... 😯

[edit]Reckon I might get another "No replies since" accolade here 😆 [/edit]

i've had them fail a delivery as they 'could not find address'

this is a lie, no one has ever failed to find our address. they were then extremely hard to get hold of, i used http://www.saynoto0870.com/ to find the depot number and called them direct
