So I'm hurtling up and down the SVT last night on a jaunt to Hayfield and I get the distinct impression that things are somewhat of a drag. I put it down to the mud, cold and a lack of tea before venturing out and decide to carry on. So imagine my disgust when I get all the way back to Hazel "Nobbin" Grove to discover I've got two slowies. A quick wristfull in both tubes sped things up and got me through the next few miles.
When I get the tyres off at home I discover one small prick and three holes! Instead of snuggling up I now had half an hour or so of fumbling under the rim, sticky fingers, vulcanised rubber and some frantic pumping.

gggrrrr

Oh I dunno, Hoops is a good looking chap and whatnot, some frantic pumping to keep you warm on a January evening might be quite welcome

I ordered a double entendre in a pub once.

The barmaid gave me one.

Tubeless seems like an additional expense. I'm sticking with tubes for sentimental reasons.....for now.

The worst thing is the paranoia about whether it'll still be up at the end of the day. It's like Schrodinger's cat every time I go for a quick pinch.

they stopped sending the memos in 2001 - once everyone was using tubeless

with tubeless you can have multiple penetrations with, at worst, a bit of oozing
there's a small chance of getting covered in milky fluid but it's a chance worth taking IMO - nobody likes a fumble in the forest when it's all dark

I genuinely took that to be a reference to topping up the Stans fluid!

Wasn't til I reached

When I get the tyres off at home
that I realised I'd misinterpretted it.
