So I get home and notice and empty bar mount. Check the video! Ha, little used naughty cut through the farm gate, it'll still be there in morning!
Was it? No. 🙁 Bugger. Good light that was.

Wasn't a gravel specific light, clearly.

Good light that was.
Given that it parted company with the mount all on its own, one may beg to differ 😆

It's impressive how it has made it look like daytime in those pictures. Some serious lumens going on there.

I've genuinely never known a bike light to eject itself

I've seen mounts slip resulting in droopy light syndrome, but that is pretty unlucky

POSTED 5 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

We're still talking about bike lights, right?

I think I know how it happened - see pic 3, the sticky up bit at the front of the mount - it's the end of the rubber strap that holds it onto the bars. It gets in the way when you slide the light on the clamp and I think I was a bit careless and didn't ensure the light was fully engaged. Then I went over that farm track which is very bumpy concrete...
The clamp is disappointingly wobbly - watching back the video the light does a little jiggy dance all the time I'm in motion.

I know! Looking for smooth concrete and listening to music 😳

I lost my Exposure link on a commute.
No idea as it was a relatively smooth track, and the light is either engaged or not.
£50!!!
Never found it.

Must've been the sick & gnarly trail you were slaying that bounced it off.

That'll be the one before the pics, obviously.
