just re-watched beyond from the animatrix film link here for anyone interested http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/9pimkk/beyond and it got me thinking (a rare occurrence 😉

was wondering if you have had any otherworldly/ethereal moments in your life.say you were somewhere like a forest for instance, and the sunlight shining through the branches/warm sun just made the moment seem like a dream (not quite real).

i have had a few of those moments during my life so far,and they did feel very blissful/otherworldly.

how about you?

At the birth of my son, snowboarding in Canada and some messy nights at Glastonbury spring to mind 😀

Mind you, I do hoover up 8 grams of Ketamine every night*.

First night together (you know, nudge nudge etc) with an old love and when we got up in the morning, unexpectedly and not forecast (it was March IIRC), it was snowing and the view from bedroom window was a proper winter wonderland.

If there is a God, he threw a blinder for me that day.

A lamp post in Stourbridge once directed it's beam only at me then told me that it was God and that I had to head for the hills. in the dark. in the night. I may have polluted my chakras with something at a party earlier...

(Is that the time...)

In other seriousness - ma nature has flung much my way, inspired me to take up painting/photography and hence chase the moments. Too many to count, and feel right blessed.

Mine are hellish like falling from sky into hell or visiting hell.

Wonder what have I done wrong in this life ... 😡

edit: in hell I could see corpses as far as I could see in all forms.

I one had a poo, I heard the splash as it entered the water but looking down into the bowl no "trout" could be seen, not even a skidder. The wipe also wasn't conclusive so must have been a clean exit or a GHOST POO.
Strange

Yeah, but if I also started thinking about all the 'otherwordly' moments in EX8 I'd probably be able to fill a 12 pager by myself!

EDIT: Oh, and this is REALLY (irrationally) pissing me off now.

LOL bearnecessities..

this was EX5 but that 10 minute journey up the A376 made it all the more exciting

the online EX8 video footage from that era is a lot shonkier 😀

And what about EX6 - a postcode synonymous with MTB activity these days 🙂

Pah, who needs photoshop. 😀

EDIT: Subsequent-post-reading fail. Just to clarify, I don't like mescaline. 😳

Sat on a mountain off my lid on disco biscuits watching the sun come up with a load of mates. Has to be experienced to be believed.

Once in a French farmhouse I was staying in the annnexe on my own felt a presence move through menearly crapped myself

I'm pretty sure it was the huge 7 course meal I'd eaten earlier rather than one of Derek Accoras friends
