MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
😆
he went back and apologised............top bloke.
what did he do?
Shows he a real person and not always running to an election script, and the apol was a nice touch.
Just seen he called a women a bigot, I suppose the key question is was she bigotted as they didnt show that on the news.
didnt want to post the picture bit rude (naughty words)!
she most def was a bigot! obviously been reading too much BNP propaganda!
Just seen he called a women a bigot, I suppose the key question is was she bigotted as they didnt show that on the news.
She said
Its all these eastern Europeans! I mean where are they all coming from?
I am guessing somewhere in eastern Europe? 😕
I wonder do Poland et al have TV programs about moving to the UK like we do when we follow families to live in France, Australia, or other hotter country than our own?
More thick than bigoted then, still good on ya Gordon, at least we know he calls a spade a spade.
thats ****in ace ibis
lol, Rochdale majority 149, I'm sure that he's fücked off alot of other local voters there as well!
Is he still taking medicines, or is our PM currently off medication? Was grinning like the Cheshire bloody cat when he came out after [s]browbeating[/s] apologising to the poor woman who only said what a majority of the electorate think!
who only said what a majority of the electorate think
only those missing frontal lobes i suspect
It can't be a suprise surely.....
Politician in two faced shocker!!!! 🙂 lol
I left the UK 3 years ago, but i'd really struggle to choose someone to vote for.
They all seem like dodgy salesman 🙁
The fat lady's warming up..... (and I'm not talking about the "bigot")
just heard the interview with her and gordo, reminded me of my own bigoted mother, she believes everything she reads in the daily express too! didn't matter what gordo said she wasn't going to listen, the only thing he did wrong was apologise.
I thought the headline on Sky News said "Bigtoed Women"
😥
even Catherine Tate knows what these oldies are like!!
Is he still taking medicines, or is our PM currently off medication?
If he is popping pills and is unwell, I shall say as I have before, I wish him every health. I wish him out of a job, of course, but the man's personal health is his own concern, not ours. (Unless it has a direct impact on his ability to govern)
He Clearly has issues with being confronted impromtu. i mean, the actual confrontation he handled really well. she was a happy punter. he wasn't happy about being put in that position but, i'm sorry: you're the PM on an election campaign!
At least he didn't do a Prescot 1-2 on her!
Well if you believe what Gordon has to say the more fool you, he was caught out and he could not cope, if its not scripted or a pre prepared Q&A session then GB is buggered. The way he was trying to suck up to the woman before he got back into the car was laughable.
He has shown his true colours, and there is no hiding from that, no matter how they spin it out.
He has shown his true colours, and there is no hiding from that
yep he has, he doesnt like xenophobes
It's OK, everyone! It's all part of a devious plot.
From the comments, rather pertinent, I think;
JohnThis is bo**ocks - have the balls to just stay quiet.
She was a bigot, he should have said it to her face. Would have a bit more respect for him then.
So CFH - you don't think the Murdoch empire is desperately trying anything they can to help Dave win the election?
Can't believe the level of hype about this - surely there are more important things to talk about?

he went back and apologised............top bloke.
POSTED 4 HOURS AGO # REPORT-POST
and he apologised because he thought he said something wrong or simply because , politically, he had to do some kind of damage limitation?
So CFH - you don't think the Murdoch empire is desperately trying anything they can to help Dave win the election?
Should they have not reported it? I mean it's not as if they made it all up - he really did say what he said. How exactly is this a conspiracy?
and he apologised because he thought he said something wrong or simply because , politically, he had to do some kind of damage limitation?
Agreed. So even the top bloke simply warps his opinions to suit the miniscule moment. And obviously the lib dem or conservative candidates would have done exactly the same.
Amazingly, people were going on record as saying they would now change their vote.. WTF!!!?
"yeah, voted labour all my life, but now I've seen this, I'm not going to"
Should they have not reported it?
So Sky just happened to leave the microphone broadcasting after he had got in the car?
Amazingly, people were going on record as saying they would now change their vote.. WTF!!!?
These people shouldn't be allowed to vote - is this really an important issue? 🙄
So Sky just happened to leave the microphone broadcasting after he had got in the car?
I think you'll find Gordon just happened to leave it switched on when he got in the car.
These people shouldn't be allowed to vote - is this really an important issue?
Actually, from the point of view of showing him as he really is rather than the carefully managed public face, yes it is an important issue. If only we could have similar insight into the private thoughts of the other 2.

But in which direction? If any politician were going to convince me to vote for him, it'd be by him/her showing me they were human. I'd be much happier watching one of them make a mistake (and I don't really see Brown's incident as a mistake), and then genuinally be sorry they did it. I remember Blair almost apologised once for going into Iraq. He came so close but then something happened and he stopped. He would have won my vote by being a man but he just couldn't do it.
It could have been worse. When I first heard the story I thought it was going to end with by him getting caught of screen saying something along the lines of
"she was right you know, we need to get these f*cking immigrants out..."
If any politician were going to convince me to vote for him.......
Why do some/most people appear to see voting for a politician as doing them a favour ?
Politicians are elected to represent you. They are suppose to be doing you a favour.
Hands up everyone in the thread who's never chatted happily to someone then thought, or said, "What a ****" as soon as they're out of earshot? Everyone with your hand up, congratulations, you may now criticise Gordon Brown without being a raging hypocrite. Everyone else... Well.
OK, another one, hands up everyone who thinks that any of the other politicians out there haven't done the exact same thing. Everyone with your hand up, you may now... Ah, nobody.
Hands up everyone in the thread who's never chatted happily to someone then thought, or said, "What a ****" as soon as they're out of earshot?
I can't remember the last time I didn't.
Politicians are elected to represent you. They are suppose to be doing you a favour.
So why are they scrabbling around like crazy trying to get us to vote for them? That doesn't make sense. If they were truely working for us (which is so far from the truth it's on mars), they would put their plans forward concisely and clearly in an objective manner and leave it at that.
If they really felt our best interests were the most important thing they'd come up with some unified agreement that included the best of all their policies and agree on a shared parliment with everything being done to serve the public.
But they don't. They bicker and chatter like toddlers. I have a 15 year old who is more mature. Have you seen them all in parliment squabbling with each other? What a farce. They're in it for themselves, not for us.
So why are they scrabbling around like crazy trying to get us to vote for them?
Because that's the way it is now. Before politics became just another exercise in marketing skills, politicians, after much debate and discussion, said to the electorate, "right, these are our policies, if you don't like them, then f*ck off and vote for someone else". Which gave the people real choice.
Nowadays, politicians try to appeal to everyone. And as a result, there is no choice.
We used to have conviction politicians, but now they are almost all career politicians.
And it's all really rather depressing. But I at least, still expect a political party to be doing me a favour - not me doing them one.
Hands up everyone in the thread who's never chatted happily to someone then thought, or said, "What a ****" as soon as they're out of earshot?
I prefer to say it when they are in earshot, as it has more effect, naturally. Sometimes you have to bite yer lip though.
I try to refrain from abusing idiots on here though, as it's not very satisfying over tinternet. I prefer the face to face approach. More fun to make them look stupid than abuse them. Turn hate into laughter...
I prefer to say it when they are in earshot........I prefer the face to face
So how come you keep sending me those abusive texts then ?
Because you live in Croydon, and I'm not lowering myself to such depths.
Id have had more respect for him if he'd stood by the quote and said 'dya know what - at that moment that's what I thought and I stand by it'
So one of the candidate's is human? Our lizard overlords won't like that. I will definitely be switching my vote to 'tadpole' clegg or 'jellyfish' cameron.
And it's good to see toryboy fleshheart seeking to discriminate on health grounds. I expect he'd have replaced that big, fat alkie smoker with a lean, healthy veggie during WWII? That would have been better, eh? 😉
Amazingly, people were going on record as saying they would now change their vote.. WTF!!!?"yeah, voted labour all my life, but now I've seen this, I'm not going to"
The sort of people who have voted Labour all their lives seem to be fairly apolitical in a lot of cases. They're simply voting Labour out of inertia, and Labour do the bare minimum to convince these people to vote for them - usually "nasty party" rhetoric about the Tories, or a chant about Surestart (which, whilst providing childcare for lots of people, hasn't achieved what it set out to do at all).
tsss that is why UK will only be a second class country. My lovely and beloved president can say on record to someone "Get out you ****" and not only he didn't apologized, but he managed to sue the guy too.
Now that is proper political class 😀
Yes but your president's wife has had her Lady garden out in pictures, for all the World to see.
Well pictures of carla's bit are preferable than mrs blair's ones...
😉
Juan..you are right mate ..."classic foreigners nicking our jobs" line trotted out, Gordon prob thought she was a bigot so said so...agree may have done better if he'd stuck to his guns rather than apologising though!
Did sommat similar myself, filling in customer contact details about a bike purchase, they'd left the shop, I was head down writing out the address and mentioned to my mate "gasworks lane that sounds nice eh?"...only to look up there they were with a question for me 😯
Juan keep up it's Mrs Brown now!
Well i know it's mrs brown but I have no idea what she looks like... At least mrs blair is yeuuuuurk
tron - MemberLabour do the bare minimum to convince these people to vote for them - usually "nasty party" rhetoric about the Tories......
Actually the term "nasty party" to describe the Tories, was first given media prominence in 2002 by the then chairman of the Conservative Party, Theresa May. She used the term in her keynote speech to the Conservative Party Conference as she outlined why the Tories needed to change.
The comment caused a great deal of controversy within the Tory Party at the time, with some calling for her resignation. Still, just blame "Labour rhetoric about the Tories" for all of that.
Are we allowed to post pics of Mrs Sarkozy's said Lady Garden? In the interests of political comparison?
I'm playing it safe...
Love all!
Actually, I believe the only British MP to ever have shown off her bits and bobs in popular culture, was Glenda Jackson.
The former member for Hampstead + Highgate:
Lordy.
She's a healthy lass, no question....
