From here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-22908133

Although Debenham had booked a three-night stay, he was rumbled after two nights by suspicious staff

(I can't recall the last time I heard anyone being 'rumbled' outside of Guy Ritchie's celluloid world)

This

Describing the smash on its Facebook page, Chiswick RNLI said:.....

Doesn't really sit with

There was superficial damage to gilded carvings on one side and a wooden crown on the stern was knocked overboard

First might well be from a court stringer or the PA, rather than a BBC staff reporter.

Send them an email about it though, they love getting them.

๐Ÿ˜€ "Radio 1 Newsbeat" is basically "John Craven's Newsround" for the remedial kids.

The trouble is that most BBC news is now 'remedial'.
