On Valentine’s Day, 1990, Voyager 1 took a photo of Earth from 3.7 billion miles, 6.3 billion kilometres away. The single tiny dot against an otherwise empty sky puts the posturing of various politicians into perspective.

Listening to Carl Sagan's perspective on Earth in relation to the cosmic vastness transformed me in many ways years ago. Thanks for the reminder.
