It's funny, because as a Canadian, when I first moved to the UK 15 years ago, the first question I often got from people of a certain age was, 'You're Canadian? Do you know Rush?'
There are worse questions to be asked. But no, I don't know them.

First concert I went to was Rush. Have to say I've never sat comfortably with my own inner-geek. It has improved over the years, as has my musical lexicon. Thanks music! I do still like to hear By-Tor and The Snow Dog tho. Especially those snorky sounds, delayed guitar stabs and the galloping bass in the middle-[s]eight[/s]-forever bit.

Last time I heard Rush I was painting my skirting boards and it made me spill gloss all over the carpet in the hurry to turn the radio off.
used a Neil Peart Sabian Paragon ride cymbal and his sticks in my set up for many years. Can't really stand Rush but his endorsed gear sounds amazing.
