I do love a good bit of Rush....

Subdivisions was the album which got me into them, so...

Nope. Don't get them never have.
Which is strange as I admire their technical ability and appreciate their musical ability.
I just don't like their music.
Which is strange considering how much prog I've listened to over the years.
They certainly have blazed a trail over the years, so I'll raise a glass to celebrate Rush Day (if that is actually a thing).

"2112" is an album name, so Rush day is 21st of December...

Still waiting for Yes day when we hit stardate 90125

Okay - that bass solo is pretty damned impressive.

Anyone post a link to Tom Sawyer...?

Christmas may be cancelled but we still have Rush Day. Happiest day of the year and a deeply spiritual time (for me at least).

There's a nice little video for "The Spirit of Radio" that came out a few months back following Neil Peart's passing.

I forgot to mention, there's a good documentary on Rush on Netflix - https://www.netflix.com/gb/title/70137744

Awww PJay, I thought it was gonna be the episode of Trailer Park Boys when the boys got backstage, except for Bubbles, who got onstage as well...

Their far Right politics show them to be nasty pieces of work.

Happy Rush Day everyone. I'm celebrating with a nice bottle of red and the R40 DVD.

As there won't be any new Rush songs ,this will more than fill the void.
A stunning homage to the band and easily song of the year.

I'm the same. I should love them because I love that style of music and love plenty of bands who make similar stuff, and I can see how accomplished they are but their music leaves me completely cold. I've puzzled over it for quite a while now!
