anyone on here do it?
How big/small do they fold down to, only info i could find was "collapses down to 4m if required" for one model. Do they fit in a family car with the rigid bits on the roof, or do i need to be looking at a van?
Is there an equivalent of the STW classifides where people sell off 3-5 year old intermediate kit when they upgrade? Not looking to buy just yet, need to learn first!

Fleabay seems to have good deals - get lessons/advice and enjoy. I think you are right to go for intermediate as you'll 'grow' out of beginners kit very quickly.
Get in touch with your local club and chat to them about secondhand.
Cars - most Hangliders are roof mountable only and usually too long for a standard mini bus / T4 IMO
Its a great sport - I did paragliding for years then gave up after having one too many close calls.
Cheers
