We will be in touch
Let's start with one of his later, more commercial works as an intro to those who don't know...
Feel free to add your own.
not going well this thread is it?
nice bit of anti war sentiment:
he's got a new orchestral album coming out hasn't he?
I think he's pretty good.
Oh look, my hands are remaining firmly down.
He was on Jools Holland a few weeks ago.
He did some new version of his back catalogue with an orchestra
This version of Paul Simon's 'Boy In The Bubble' from 'Scratch My Back' is brilliant IMO

That about sums it up
I've got the orchestral album, which is surprisingly good.
He's been interesting musically over the years, but not sure about him as a person and the over-fussy-paedo-style beard.
here comes the flood....one of the best songs ever ...watched him in Birmingham on the Growing up tour few years ago and he opened up with it ..spine tingling ...the man is a legend /genius
Liking this music is worse than the pervasive sexism on here 🙁
I wouldn't say I'm a fan (have his best of ... or whatever it's called) so can I half raise my arm 😉
Anyway, listening to Biko at the end of the tour of Robben Island was really quite moving.
I like him because he bought a painting of mine. 8)
all about opinion
I'm a big fan - but he needs to pull his finger out and write some new material. I'm really not into this orchestral stuff he's doing. That "boy in the bubble" isn't a patch on the original version.
