Opened a web account with Halifax today, for it to start i need to reply to an email saying i accept the terms stating my cust. number.
So any know WTF the customer number is or how you get it ? I have no info other than my roll no. sort code and Acc. Number...
Just tried the help desk and after 11 minutes of being on hold i hung up.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me, did they say that they were going to email you in the branch? Dont remember doing anything like that when i set mine up!

I did it over the phone, asked for my email addy and was told i would need to reply to activate it. Went into branch later today to sign forms for the other 3 accounts i opened at the same time so it should be OK...
