So how many of you guys are sporting beardage?

Nope - couple of days stubble, mostly because I don't need to look smart for work, and am too lazy to shave every day.

Where I work, most of the bearded men are bald. I can never get my head around that one.

As you get older you get too tall for your hair. Simple, eh?

Yup, trying for the 'House' look, but really lacking his rogue-ish charm. About as much hair, and beard; it starts to irritate once it gets longer.
Did shave it off for a bit, but prefer having it, and it's just easier than shaving anyway.
Oh, and the bloke in the first link; can't say that I've seen too many like him about, must be some sort of urban/metropolitan thing.
I think he looks a tit anyway.
And I've spoken about my tattoos on other threads.

Beard and proud, even proud of my ginger beard. Who care what a bunch of sad idiots on the internet think, have you see what some of those freaks in lycra prancing round in funny shoes look like?

As I sit in this category being able to grow a decent beard is somewhat compensation for the loss of the the ability to have a hair style (with the exception of a grade 1 all over), at least until the 'Terry Nutkins' comes back into fashion.

We're changing from the Polo/Chino wearing flock (as they retire, move on, get booted out) into the trendy Yoof flock (hip, iPad, intelligent, smart thinking, networkers)

Beard/tats = modern day Polo/Chino combo.

most blokes decide on a haircut by the age of 40ish so are these beards locked in for life then?

I'm just glad that this isn't my haircut or beard length, I prefer not to have any trend associations (I'm glad that fixed gear isn't trendy anymore)

and I have zero tats and piercings for the same reason (although this will be a trend statement soon which will annoy me)

Nah, I alternate between beardy and clean shaven.

When I was younger I had a ginger beard and brown hair, which looked a bit odd.
Much better now it's all grey. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ed, give us a bell when you've got a sec.
I've got some work for you. ๐Ÿ˜€

I don't recall Mao or Stalin having beards. Or Pol Pot.
Nope, no beard there:

Bearded for a long time here. It's starting to annoy me slightly that they have become fashionable. Everyone seems to assume you are following the trend ๐Ÿ˜ฅ Just recently become a Father and I'm definitely with the comedy band The Beards, If you're Dad hasn't got a beard, you've got two Mums ๐Ÿ˜† so I can now never be clean shave again. Hoorah!

Red, number 4 on the trimmer. Had it for four years. Trimmed once a week. No neck hairs.

Is that your "happy" face?

I tell you what looks odd (someone mentioned earlier that theirs is like this), people with full beards where they've shaved the neck area so it's just from the jaw up. It looks crap
