[Closed] Had a Cholesterol test - what do all the numbers and letters mean?
Had my cholesterol test last week and phoned my GP practice today and was told my results were fine, then she reeled of a whole list of numbers to me?
Cholesterol was 4.5
HDL 0.95
LDL 2.77
Triglycerides 1.5
Does anyone know what they all mean? ๐ฏ
Why didn't you ask her?

I sort of got hung up on ๐ they must have been busy lol
They are complex calculations that are used to work out if it's too dangerous to cremate you once you have died. If you have too high a number, there's a danger of an explosion as the fat cells ignite. I believe that the general solution is to hang you from a tree in the garden of rememberance so that the Blue Tits can peck at you instead
I am all for the Blue Tits having a go at me in the end, what a great idea.
Thanks for the link woody, good info, so there is good and bad Cholesterol? Never new that...
