I finally got round to seeing this yesterday, the most fun I've had with a big blockbuster movie for quote sometime.

Yeah, it's on my list too. I know nothing of the comic universe but it looks very good.

We went last night. Maybe 20 minutes too long, but good fun.

Saw it yesterday, it was great, I just wish some of the other Marvel movies could have been that much fun.
Good to see the generalissimo had a brief cameo as well.

Looking forward to seeing this, as is my 8yr old.

My question is, will my nearly 5yr old enjoy it?

I don't think so.

The soundtrack is great. Mrs Sandwich managed to snag free tickets to the regional premiere. It's a great 3D film too.
It's the only time the ushers have asked to see our phones being turned off.

Saw I last Wednesday, absolutely loved it! Far too many in-jokes, pop-culture and comic references to pick out on one viewing. Anyone notice the bridge when the city was being attacked and they were evacuating?
And did anyone sit through to the end of the credits?
Nice little surprise for long-time comic readers. ๐Ÿ˜€

Loved it +1 for the amazing sound track.
The 80's sound just seamed to work

I wouldn't take a five year old. The lads I took are both 10 and loved it (fortunately the filthiest joke didn't mean a thing to them), I'd say maybe 8 or 9 as a minimum? I was surprised at how few kids there were in the cinema, considering it was a matinee in the summer holidays.
Soundtrack was awesome, just downloaded 'cherry bomb'.

Enjoyed it a lot. Not quite so keen as some on the soundtrack. Zoe Soldano overcame that thoughdidnt recognise Karen Gillen though.

I feel a bit sorry for Zoe Saldana - she's smoking hot, but is now mostly famous for being an oddly hot blue alien, a pretty hot green alien & being a human but an alien's love interest...

I rated it. Especially Rocket's deconstruction of their Quirky Mini-boss squad status.
