You must not scuba dive with it (absolute max of 40m, more like 20m). What's the issue, are they worried the diver will use the watch to calculate decompression times or something?

Pressing the buttons affects the seals I think, might be why "proper" divers watches have the rotating bezel for timing.

I used to dive all the time with a G Shock on and nothing ever happened to it.

It is easier to have something waterproof at a greater depth as the pressure will be pressing it all together that much harder.

Very few people dive with a watch only, most who want a wearable computer have a suunto stinger

The 200m they advertise on the dial is tested in static air pressure 20 ATM.

This is different from the ISO test that Diver's watches must pass.

Diver's watches will have Diver or Professional on the dial.

Might give it a go then. I've got a proper wrist worn Suunto dive computer for the important stuff.

Mines got 600m/2000ft on it, I wouldn't fancy testing it 😯
