God I'm such a spanner, drilled loads of holes in the second skin of rim, lightened it by 200g result.

go to the next stage, Big hole cutter, to make it really light and the Flinkingbastarddrillthingymebobbins snapped causing the hole cutter to mangle the rim beyond all repair. It looks like a flippin grizzly bear has been chewing it. ๐Ÿ™

I'm not normally such a duffhanded tosser, but I really have outdone myself!

new one on the way and this time I'll give to a nice man who can make a decent job of it.

I'm hanging up all my tools and never touchin anything bike related ever again.

a very sad and somewhat lighter in the wallet tazzy

Pop Lynskey is sitting there waiting for you, if you want to drop the wheel over tomorrow. Does have a big dent in it though where a lump hammer seemed to fly across the workshop. must have a poltergeist or somefink

tazzy, it's clearly bike related buffoonery. ๐Ÿ˜›

I've reported your post. You should expect some time in the cooler. ๐Ÿ˜€

unless i've ended it all by sitting in a pile of 29er wheels with one around my neck waiting for inevitable explosion to decapitate me.

You could use the pictures as a kind of warning about the dangers of using hole saws.

It's your duty to do it.

Buy a drilled rim?

even with mangling this one and havin to buy another 80mm, it's still cheaper than a surly rolling daryl. If I hadn't been a complete fknuts it would have been massively cheaper ๐Ÿ˜ณ

in fact this has sullied the entire fat experience for me, I shall sell all my incoming fat rubber and rims and then point and laugh at fat bikers safe in the knowledge that I'm normal

If the sodding pilot drill hadn't snapped it would have been a simple job.

still at least I now know the heady height of my incompetence. ๐Ÿ˜†
