What a waste of a hike eh?
Yeah oldy that one, but very good. Gives me the heebies just watch him stand at the peak there, never mind thinking about strapping some slidey things to my feet.

put me in mind of the snowboarder on the Ch5 programme last night - narrowly avoided a drop down a 1000ft (IIRC) cliff face...

Yeah he took the impact with the rocks at 1:10 through his legs. Very lucky. Had he ragged dolled into them things would have been a different story.
