What's the best GPS watch out there? My wish list of features are:

1. OS map coordinates
2. Altitude (in metres!)
3. Good battery life
4. Waterproof
5. Tells the time

Also, the cheaper and less bulky the better. Not interested in getting fit ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm looking at this too.

There seem to be two main options, the Suunto Ambit or the Garmin Fenix. Both have very similar spec's and neither are cheap, nor do they really have good battery life in GPS mode.

The globalsat watches look good. No experience of them, just found out about them on a STW thread about their bike computers.

I take it you're going to be wanting it for more than just biking? If not, get a bike mounted one, it will have a bigger screen and will be in a better position for following a route whilst moving.
If I did have a watch GPS, I would still mount it on the bars/stem when biking.

EDIT: If you're not wanting to follow routes with it and are just wanting to receive/record information, ignore what I've already said.
